We experience outages 2 to 3 times a day, internet and tv. Very Frustrating and unacceptable! We are looking at other providers at this time.

rst cable compantywoInitially, the tech seemed like a nice guy, but then his "supervisor" showed up at 4:30 and asked if he had done a safety inspection on his vehicle before he left in the morning. Was taking too long, so i went out and told the tech, this was my time - back to work. Told my wife this was BS - maybe checking on our house or selling drugs.. The tech said he would be back the following day between 12 and 1 PM. Then at 3 PM, then a little later. Got the feeling he was waiting for me to say when I wouldn't be home, so he could rob me. This is Saturday - will call the police on Monday - will wait until I have a complete statement with names and times. WORST CABLE COMAPNY EVER.

Price increase

Mediacom will add channels to your plan and increase your price even if you do not want those channels, but they are now telling us that some networks are asking for more money to broadcast on Mediacom, to Mediacom is telling us that we should expect another increase. Preferred solution: New customers get lots of extras and discounted packages, but longtime customers never ever get any discount, just increases.

I’m in Maryland close to Dagsboro and this person is correct the cable and internet is horrible always down or screen pixelated, or sound cutting in and out . I wish mediacom would move to a 3rd world country and provide services ,O who am I kidding I bet they have better service now in 3rd world country’s. Give us something like Comcast I’m my area I’m they pulling the plug on unreliablecom.

INCONSISTENCY TO FOLLOW SET RULES

As of today, I have been 6 days without cable tv in my living room. A technician was supposed to be here between 8 and 12 this morning.

It's 11:57 and no one has shown up; currently have been on the phone with customer services for 22 minutes.

I work overnights. I stayed up this morning in order to not miss the call from the technician, like I was told to do when this was scheduled. I have to work tonight, so as it stands I might get 3 hours of sleep before this shift. I am being told by customer service that the technician called me yesterday and I didn't answer, so he cancelled my appointment.

I was probably asleep and didn't hear the phone. But my concern, why would I even think about answering the phone the day before when I had already confirmed my appointment with the automated system and was told they would call 15 minutes before arriving. Now this technician is saying that he has called me, but there are no missed calls or messages on my phone from anyone this morning.

This is not the first time I have had issues with your company. I am paying $187 a month for what?

I think this is my wake-up call to find a different way to watch TV....Verizon has been after me to switch....if it's cheaper, I am done with you people.

This has ruined my day, ruined my sleep and does not say much for my shift at the hospital tonight. Would you want me taking care of your loved one after a day like this with no sleep.....

Our cable went out and was out for three weeks. A service tech finally came out on Sun. evening after two weeks of calling, but said he could not make any repairs because we have zero signal at the cable box. He advised another service tech would be out Wed. or Thurs. of the coming week. No one showed. I called again on Fri. I was told Tech would be out by 8 PM. Again NO SHOW. I called on Sat. I was told Tech would be out by 8 PM. Again NO SHOW. I will call on Mon. and CANCEL mediacom.

User's recommendation: If your not a long time customer don’t use Mediacom won’t give you a break on deals or price so why not cancel and cut the cord. If you don’t like cutting cord then try it for a couple months and then get the new customer discount. Because they won’t give old customers a deal at all! Truth hurts sorry Mediacom!

Mediacom sent a tech who agreed with me that the coaxial cable was cut during sod installation. He ran a temporary cable to the house. He installed a large box on the house where the cable entered the house. A week later two men hand dug the trench since it was new sod. Within 20 minutes the permanent cable was installed. They confirmed that I could receive strong signals.
