I had Mediacom install Internet/TV service on June 6th. It is now July 6th.
As of yet I have NOT received more than 9 hours of continous service yet. The Internet service constantly craps out, TiVO wont function, and the "technicians" they sent out to solve the problem have given me three different explanations as to what was wrong and didn't fix a single issue since it cuts out before they can get back to their offices.
At least they showed up...the last two times Customer Service claimed to set up an appointment NO ONE showed up at all.
I'm calling the local phone company today to set up DSL. It may be slower but it works, unlike Mediacom.
This reviewer shared experience about "multiple issues..bad equipment, bad customer service, bad tecnical support." and wants this business to read this review and look into the issue (if any) as the author lost $173. The author is overall dissatisfied with Mediacom. The most disappointing about mediacom staff from Mediacom was no one resolves problem, how poor customer service is and bad service Reviewer wants customer support to reach out to him or her ASAP for further discussion of this matter.
