I work from home and have had MediaCom for many years but in recent years the service has been intermittent and unreliable. When I call to report the outage, I get everything from "we can't help you", "you are set up incorrectly", to "it's your VPN/Router/Firewall.
They never HEAR my comment that I have had the same set up for over 10 years.....it's always easier to find the reason that points away from them. I work in the IT field so I make sure that I go through EVERY TROUBLESHOOTING step multiple times before I call. I have even had to instruct them what to do before. I have called, a total now, of 11 times for my current situation and on service request #3 to have someone come out.
At this point I am not sure that I will ever get resolution.
