Mediacom is worst internet provider. They shut internet down nearly twice a week for several hours for maintenance, and a little puff of wind causes the connection to go out.

On top of that, if you call to report a problem with having no internet, they insist it is your fault that it is on your end, not theirs. They try and explain how to reset internet etc when you have done everything they suggest 100 times, and they suggest you are not doing it right and that they will send a rep over. On top of that, 90% of the time you call because internet is out, they admit its their end, and they use a "fiber optic cut" excuse every time. Who accidently does that multiple times a week?

To top everything off, we are out of internet more than we have it, but yet cable is perfectly fine, and they dont compensate for the amount of time we do not have internet. Some months we have internet 2 weeks out of the month, yet get charged the same rate.
