I thought one of the benefits of cable service, either Internet or TV, is that they are more reliable in rainy or snowy weather, compared to satellite services. This is very much not the case as I lose Internet very frequently during inclement weather.
It often takes an extended period before I am able to get back online, and even when I respond to the mediacom offer that I would like to be contacted when internet is repaired, they never contact me. Their mediocre customer service is likely well known to anybody subscribing to the service, however, it is still very frustrating nonetheless.
