We have had Mediacom for 6 months. We loose the Internet connection frequently, the Tivo service goes down.

We have had 6 service techs come out, the modem has been replaced, still having problems. This doesn't include the number of times I have rebooted the modem on my own, and had to contact tech support to help. This is a new subdivision, less than 10 years old. Mediacom always says they know we have choices and they are happy that we have selected them.

The fact is, here in Elburn, we don't have any other choice, believe me, if we did it would not be Mediacom.

I think Elburn, or who ever has control on who can provide cable service to this area should expand the market to permit another service provider. They charge like the big boys, but they don't deliver like the big boys.

Reason of review: Bad quality.

Preferred solution: anogther cable provider given permission to offer service.

I didn't like: How poor customer service is.
